56lb 4oz of a Cretelakes lump caught on 11 th May 2015, with my SB3 bait boat delivering the bait to the spot faultlesly everytime. Overall, over 30 kgs went out with my SB3. I also had 2 x 40lb +, 38lb, and a 27lb. Not a huge quantity of Carp, but quality !
I forgot to put the boat in the picture ! Dur !

I have just returned from a weeks fishing trip to margot in France. Over the week I had a total of 1250 lb fish. I took with me a sb3 pro Bait boat, which a friend kindly let me use. This was the first time I had used a bait boat and found it very easy to use, it had all the features I could need and gave me perfect bait presentation having two large hoppers saved a lot of valuable time by take two lines out at the same time. I was also surprised at how far I could take my baits, this means I could take my bait to the area where the fish where feeding in places I would not have been able to fish without the bait boat. On my return to the uk. I purchased a sb3 pro. I would recommend this bait boat to any one for use in this country or abroad. (Note: the fish shown above were all caught whilst using the Sb3 baitboat.)
John Groves.

I bought the sb3 after being recommended the boat by a friend, It is the BEST baitboat I have ever used or seen, It is compact and very easy to use and has obviously been designed by an angler who has experienced the pitfalls and failures of other baitboat manufacturers.

Hi Guy's
What fantastic service! Emailed on Saturday with problem about battery charger and you'd delivered a replacement charger and batteries by the Monday! Many thanks.
As mentioned, I fished on Sunday 8th wobbling deadbait and was really struggling to get any distance with casts due to the strong wind. Decided to use the boat to take the bait well beyond casting range and by the time the boat was back the bait had been picked up and I was into a pike of 13lb 4oz.
We've struggled with the conditions this year and although it's not a big fish it's one of the better ones this winter.
Also had a small one on ledgered smelt, again taken out by the boat beyond casting range. Certain I would have blanked without it.
Not a great picture I'm afraid as I was on my own and the sun was very low hence the shadows, but the fish was in superb condition.
Apart from the issues with the charging, the boat is proving to be excellent. Have had a couple of occurrences of failed drops. Both times the trebles caught on the prop guard. But found as long as you ensure the boat has stopped and not still moveing forwards, I then open the droppers and now it's not a problem when using the trebles. Particularly good at long range in chop when it's easy to see and control direction with the lights even in daylight. Looking forward to the Spring and trying it out to deliver particles and bait when we get the carp gear out again.
Thanks again for the excellent returns service

In 2008 I was in the market for a new bait boat, as my old Broadlands was getting a bit old and unreliable. I was looking at getting one of, what I would call the big 2. I was discussing this with a friend of mine and he suggested that I check out the boats made by a little known company called CarpTechnics. He told me that he had used one of their boats while fishing in France and that he had been really impressed with it. When I got home after our chat I looked them up and checked out their boats. The boats looked the part and the spec was very impressive. To cut a long story short I ended up purchasing the Sb3 Pro Plus Bait Boat. I have now been using the boat for over a year now and it has helped me put a lot of big fish on the bank. There are so many things I like about this boat. I love the size, the manoeuvrability, the payload and the fact that you can send it out in the worst of conditions.
So if you are in the market for a bait boat I would recommend that you check out CarpTechnics boats as I don't think there is a better boat on the market than the Sb3.

Edge Six – Keep Disturbance to a Minimum

I am a bait boat user and proud to be one, as this handy device helps me to catch more fish. Not because I use it irresponsibly to present baits into unsafe areas, but because it enables me to get my rig and free offerings into position with very little disturbance. There is no spombing and no repeated casts trying to get the rig to land bang on. I simply drive the old ‘Jolly Roger’ out to my intended spot loaded with some maggots and my rig and then dispatch it quietly on the money. Sometimes in winter I have received a bite before my boat has made it back to shore – proof indeed of its stealthy advantages!
